
Cori e concerti a Firenze
Il TFS Senior Wind Ensemble delle scuola internazionale TFS Canada arriva a Firenze con Direttore Rupert Price per un doppio concerto.
Appuntamento lunedì 13 marzo alle 20.30 all’Auditorium di Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio, in piazza di Santo Stefano 1, a due passi da Ponte Vecchio.
Concerto alle 20.30, ad ingresso libero.
Mercoledì 15 marzo un secondo appuntamento con lo speciale evento alle 12 presso la St. Mark English Church di via Maggio 16.
Due eventi imperdibili, entrambi in due bellissime location di Firenze e entrambi ad ingresso libero.
Il talentuoso complesso musicale giovanile suonerà inni classici oltre a canzoni pop e brani tratti delle più importanti colonne sonore.

The TFS Senior Wind Ensemble is an advanced ensemble of musicians from multiple high school age groups. The ensemble represents Canada’s International School and international music making at a high level of performance. For a number of years the Senior Wind Ensemble has represented the school on the National stage and even received a gold award for their outstanding performance at Musicfest Canada National Finals in Canada’s Capital Ottawa. The TFS Senior Wind Ensemble has above all, an international outlook, embracing cultures and musical styles through a philosophy of transcending borders in music as an all embracing art form.
The TFS Senior Wind Ensemble is directed by Rupert Price, a graduate from the Royal College of Music in London and former trombonist with Her Majesty’s Grenadier Guards band and internationally renowned orchestras such as the London Philharmonic and the BBC Concert orchestra. Rupert now lives in Toronto Canada and holds the principal trombone position with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra and the Ontario Philharmonic. Rupert Price also is the curriculum leader for music with TFS Canada’s International School, where it is his passion to instil the love of music in all of his students while fostering their progressive level of excellence and development of the all-round musician and world citizen.
The young musicians will present an eclectic and deeply varied repertoire from sacred to secular with a multitude of styles and eras of high quality music including some excellent Italian musical favourites!
The group will give two free performances in Florence:
– on 13 March at 20h30 at the Auditorium Santo Stefano Al Ponte Vecchio
– on 15 March at 12h00 at St Mark’s English Church
