In a magical Christmas atmosphere, music enters the most beautiful churches in Florence. On December 10th and 15th two concerts not to be missed with free admission.
The unique atmosphere of pre-Christmas Florence is enhanced by two unique events. One of the most beautiful churches in Florence will open its doors to music for concerts and choirs that will feature the majors groups arriving from the other side of the world.
Unique concerts in unique locations. The splendid church of Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio, very close to Ponte Vecchio, is a jewel to discover and rediscover. The church is one of the oldest in Florence, documented as early as 1116 in the first list of Florentine churches known, and over the centuries enriched with numerous interventions that make it nowadays original in its architecture.

The church of Santo Stefano al Ponte is located in the small Santo Stefano square a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio. Free admission.
St Aloysius’ College that is bringing its music tour from all over Europe. A culture deeply connected in the traditions of the school “About two-thirds of our students learn a musical instrument and the level of participation in musical performances is such that it attracts an increase constantly the number of students”. St Aloysius’ College in Sydney with 1,200 students is today the most important Catholic school in the country.
Cranbrook & St Catherine’s ensemble will bring a selection of students from two Anglican schools in Sydney to the stage on December 15th. The special ensemble, gathered for the occasion, will perform its particular repertoire that ranges between the sacred and the profane.
